Reviews
This product is excellent! I only wish that the dealer that sold and installed my tile cleaner has been recommended it to me! (I plan to recommend the product to him!)
Just moved into a place with tiles and wood everywhere. LOVE not having carpet, mopping hate everything. After some research, decided to buy Haan and I love it. E 'warm up fast (less than two minutes you are ready to Roar), and ' s light enough not to be "stress ", but strong enough not to be afraid of breaking it. E 'clean the floor great. I said that 's silent? Love it. R RI saw two complaints and I thought 'd meet these. I have no problem with the water tank, why 's so easy to recharge, unlike a steam cleaning vacuum cleaner that is necessary to clear water, clean the tanks, and recharging, this is just a simple cup of water directly into the tank needed. Made. Easy. The length of the cable didn 't pose a problem because I have the standard amount of electrical outlets for all my camera;) In fact, all said and done, I like the shell and the cable as it is. The tank has lasted long enough to make a substantial part of the floor, but fast enough that I can just run it til it 's empty and do not have to empty remains. And the cable is also long enough to reach a considerable portion, but not so much extra that I had to keep control over it. Only R rthe size of the head is quite thick and doesn 't swivel, so you can ' t reach far corners and nooks and crannies. I 'm ok with this because they don ' t think any steam cleaner will clean the corners better than a simple spray bottle and rag. At least for people with a group of furry animals. All other issues I 've seen weren (which to be fair ' t much at all) seem to all be 100% user error (Streak, puddling, etc. - use right and work right). R RI 'm so happy with this product that I came on Amazon to review, when I bought in a physical store:)
This is a great mop, easy to use and it does the job. My only complaint (which is probably true for any Steam MOP) if you need to get rid of a difficult task, you 're going to be able to obtain it with the mop.
I did quite a bit of research before purchasing my steam cleaner and I decided on the Hann-FS20 Plus 800-Wat Floor Sanitizer. I am very pleased with it and it is everything I thought it would be. The cord is plenty long for the areas I use it in. The floors seem so much cleaner in appearance and I even tested an area and wiped it with a damp paper towel and it was perfect! I would recommend this to anyone who is thinking of investing in a floor sanitizer. I also used it on my mattress.
The first time I used it I thought it worked great. The kitchen floor (ceramic) looked great. I was disappointed when I used it last night (I used 4 hours) and the power button broke. Now I have to unplug it to shut it down.
just bought and tried out the haan fs20. works very well. it even cleaned candle wax off my hardwood floor with no problem. cord is a bit short, but a worthwhile trade-off for the effectiveness of the product.
I only used it twice so it is still new for me. R rPros r-light sound easy to use and store r-carpet attachment works great r-hand folds and extends well so you can sweep under the bed or couch easily r rCons r They send 2-Microfibre pads pad tidy but one only about 500 sqft without leaving streak so often needed pads to clean the house once. R-cord is not long so you need a transfer from where the electric socket to others if your room is larger than 500 sqft. R-gets hot water and steam comes out but it was not as hot r steam-Only Come Out from the 1 inch space rectagular sound basis of the middle edge and corner is seldomly get any steam r-based so great you can use it easily next to the bathroom. R rOverall I use it because it was green and it feels nice to the floor and carpet is clean and germs.
This is a wonderful floor cleaner! And researched several floor steamers, the Haan had the best reviews, I purchased one, and could not wait to use it. This cleaner is so wonderful, not only do I steam clean my laminate wood floors, but I also steam clean my couches. I highly recommend this steamer to everyone that is looking to buy one!
I 'm the type of consumer that has to do her research before making any purchases because there ' s nothing I hate more than finding something else better, cheaper, etc.. that I could have gotten instead. I've been to the Referred HAAN Floor Sanitizer by a friend who also owns one but I also Researched The Shark, Bissel & 1867 Eureka Envirosteamer. I decided to go with the HAAN because of its great reviews and: RITS Canister water on the mop head is adding weight where it should be (unlike Shark and Bissell # rample cord length rtemperature heat is one of the highest Reasy to # pad put on and remove clips not like the Eureka Envirosteamer) r meu in the all product delivers exactly what it advertises. It picks up dirt and spill easily. I have not experienced any puddles of water as some reviews state. THE ONLY TIME THAT MIGHT HAPPEN IF YOU LEAVE IT IS "on " in a stationary position for an extended period of time. The pads are great, heat it up quickly, the cord length is sufficient as well as the time in between tank son mop ups. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the cord does not stay put in the "power cord management system ". It pulls out easily ... so I just Taped the cord to keep it in place (easy fix). I would recommend this product even to the most finicky consumer.
Companies fs20 + beats everything else I 've used to clean and disinfect the floors in my kitchen, hallway and bathrooms. R r-easy to use: add 1 cup-H2O, plug in, wait 2 minutes to steam, then go. R-bit minimum required; vapor easily crosses the sticky mess left in the wake of 2 young children. R-NO chemicals or sticky residue on my floors, unlike other chemical-based cleaning agents. Insurance for my children. R-feel is light and well balanced r-suited to wind the cable clips, keep the cord secured during use and storage. R-steam sterilization tray cleaning carpets, and mattresses are tapeta r ri have given this 5-stars, but is slightly less in some areas of partner, probably due to my larger than the average kitchen / dining room r rm cord could be longer than 5 / 10 r water tank capacity greater than 50% could r r corporations recommend this unit.
This offer for $ 89.99 is the lowest I saw anywhere and I received it in 2 days. I was thrilled to receive the sanitizing mat in this package. R rI received my Haan yesterday and used it for the first time. I think it 's LOVE. It is so easy to put together and did a wonderful job on my kitchen ceramic tile and bathroom floor tile. R races many of you have stated, the cord it not long enough so I just added an extention cord and all is well. r rI would like to thank all the customers that left the feedback, that is what "sold " it for me.
This is a gadget my wife wanted to have, she used it once and it is now sitting in the laundry room collecting dust. Doesn 't worth the money.
1. Very little steam is generated by mop r r2. You basically get a hot pad, not being forced to steam to the ground, as would be the ideal r r3. Returned the mop away. R R4. Dillard Conclusion: Pitiful product surrounded by hype r rHinton

I have porcelain tile throughout my house, living room without carpet has been a tremendous boost to our health. Using the steam floor cleaner WITHOUT chemicals has been a significant improvement over a bucket and mop. Less manual work, no sticky floors, no smoke / perfume to inhale and I think the steam "sanitizer " well enough after the animals who have free access to all rooms in the house. R r rHaan FS-20 + Floor Cleaning Steam Sanitizer, with 4 Microfiber Pads, Sanitizing Tray For carpets, and Short Handle Attachment
I have a very large ceramic tile floor. The machine worked well and didn 't leave too much water (which I was Concerned about). My only complaint is that the Reservoir for water is rather small so it has to be refilled a few times each time that I use it. Other then that it deserves a really good rating.
I 've used it twice. Issued a fair amount of water vapor and seems to clean my vinyl and wood laminate flooring, but I was surprised how little soil collected in your notebook. I 'm not a clean freak and has a cat, so I expect the platform to be used was very dirty afterwards. Maybe my story who 't so dirty as I thought? They do seem cleaner and brighter after the end so I guess that the disinfectant is doing 's work. We also tried the attachment with two small bathroom carpet carpet cleaner and looked after. The device is relatively easy to use and the price is reasonable. Some, but not in excess water evaporate leaving the ground afterwards. The cord could be longer. Overall, this unit seems to do a proper job for the money and is good value for apartments style house.
Originally saw this machine in an infomercial, decided to take a look here and read reviews. I confess I'm a little concerned to read some posts reported that "didn 't work ", "left streaks ", "left wet ", "in steam", etc. However I that a reviewer on another site hit the nail on the head. The power button is located at the base of the machine and is easily confused with a cufflink - if a person accidentally turned off the machine that would cause the problems mentioned above. BTW, no release deal, just put your foot on the base and pull the lever to release from the upright position. I also have an extension cord (heavy type, not the little brown or white to a light bulb) now stored with the machine to avoid problems reported with the "string too short ". It's a little machine! Very easy to assemble (adding a handle, basically) and simple instructions for quick use = use in a short time out of the box! I made use of distilled water recommended (in his hand). I cleaned my ceramic tile kitchen and my living room wood floors living (which look fabulous!) So I decided to tackle the bathroom floor. The cleaning pad was pretty soggy at that time (which reduces the steam makes PENETRATING pad and removal of earth), but was still able to remove most of the soil in droplets of hair spray dirt closed since the vinyl tile Textured? Previously I could only remove the dirt using a brush, lots of harsh cleaning products and noon 's worth of elbow grease. T (ugh!) Haven 'have not used the accessory carpet, but I'm anxious to have cleaned / sanitized trim soon. This really is a fabulous little machine and I recommend!
I 'm very pleased with the clean. I have a vinyl floor and it was beautiful work. I tend to go Barefoot in the summer and feel the sound clean floor ... there is no feeling of sand left after mopping them. I have a very large kitchen plus 1 / 2 bath and laundry room. I am able to do the entire area with only a 2-up kids. I haven 't try it on the carpet, but my hope would be equally pleased. I recommend this product.
I planned to buy the Shark Steam Mop, but after reading the reviews I went to the site Haan and I 'm so glad she did. Have a steady stream of steam so don 't need to press a button and the flow of water vapor is constant, not only when pushing or pulling. The bearings are very heavy and thick, washable floor so you can clean the entire first floor of my house with a towel. Can I use the platform to the second floor bathroom ceramics. This is so easy to use - just pour in the water, wait 3 minutes, and start rubbing. This was a great investment!
My cleaner works great on my laminate and ceramic flooring. Recently the top pole came apart from the bottom of the pole b / c it wasn t 'latching on. I talked with the company and they replaced the top pole. They are very friendly and easy to work with.
(update: This review was updated on 11-2-09 after I got to compare the Bissell as well as add notes about the Ladybugg steamer at the bottom) r ri live in a neighborhood where EVERY man is "green built certified "This means that, to have that certification, not the builder built homes with carpet. All the main floors are polished concrete floors and the lower wood. The bathrooms all have tile and / or slate in every man. R rBecause of this, as you could imagine, Steam Mops are quite the neccessity ... NOT ONLY BECAUSE THEY GET THE HARD surfaces better than anything else, BUT BECAUSE THEY thumbnails "green " clean and chemical free. I 'll be honest, for us ... that ' sa bonus but we weren 't chemical free cleaning before. We like for our chemical free pet 's Paws but I ' ll Confess I was mopping with chemicals before I got my steamer and just kept the pets out of the room while doing it because, up until then, I couldn 't get it clean any other way. r rOkay, sound that said ... we decided to have a steamer down to compare 5 different show Steamers because my friends and I knew as long as we are in. These homes are we gonna have to have a steamer to get all these clean hard floors ... we may as well figure out which one to buy next go round. Because my own home is graced with 2 cats, 3 dogs, gregarious and two cooks, my kitchen floor (which had not been cleaned by a steamer ever since my steamer had just arrived) was the testing spot. R rMind YOU, AND vaccuum twice per week and do a mega mop twice a week. I thought I had pretty clean floors in spite of my pet capacity. R ri thought wrong. These picked up dirt so well it 's scary r RSO here ' s the results: r r1. Steam Mops are the Mac Daddy of clean floors. What These Things picked up was tremendous and no comparison to my most vigorous Prior constant mopping. R r2. So now I 'll break down the elements of each we used mop and then go into more detail about each at the end. r RWE tried out: r "s ": The Shark Europro by r "e " The Eureka Envirosteamer by r "H " The steamer Haan r "M " The Monster r "B " The Green Tea Bissell r rCORD LENGTH: so you don 't have to stop and unplug and replug in somewhere else: rShark (Will Be Referred to as S): 20 feet rEnvirosteamer (WILL Be Referred to as E): 25 feet rHaan: (Will Be Referred to as H) 19 '8 " rMonster (Will Be Referred to as F): 25 feet rBissell (Will Be Referred to as B) 17 feet r rSTEAM temperature: this is a primary element. The hotter the steam, the more picked up dirt and hot steam will also kill parasites, mold and more Loosen dirt and Mildew: rs 110 degrees. lame RE 220 degrees. VERY HOT rh 212 degrees. very hot rm 266 degrees. ... Although the hottest envirosteamer Haan and seemed plenty hot enough. The Shark didn 't clean nearly as well and this was one reason. 110 degrees just isn ' t going to melt off stuck on grime. RB 125 degrees. Note that, because of this low-temperature steam the manual said that if I wanted to sanitize the floor or pick-up caked on Spill, I had to hold the steamer on the spot for 15 seconds but no more than 20 because that could damage some floors. Now I don 't know about you, but if I can sanitize with One Swipe of the other because of their sanitizing Steamers time my floor will be done WAY faster but I don ' t have a timer to worry about the extra 5 SECON wheres my wood floors could get damaged. My sink water is hotter than this so it would take less time to use a regular mop if I have to hold the steamer on every spot of my floor for 15 seconds to santize. Just sayin r rBUILD: RWE found how it was made corresponded with issues with the steamer. The Shark, for example, was quite flimsy and they actually sell replacement handle kits because so many people have issues with breaking the handle! We know this because my neighbor 's shark broke and the store had a replacement handle kits on the shelf because he said "it happens often ". That 's an extra cost. REnvirosteamer Was 5.4 lbs which made it lightweight but strong enough that you didn ' t have to press down to clean. Very well made and strong parties rHaan: not made as well as the envirosteamer but it 's more expensive so this was a surprise. A bit flimsy and you need to press down on it more to clean at 3:15 lbs. RMonster: hefty and well made at 9 lbs but a bit too heavy unless you want a good workout. (Note: They have changed the handles on the Monster Mops now and they are all plastic and people are having breakage issues) rBissell: It 's 8.4 pounds but that includes a water filter that you have to get for this one (see notes below) r rWATER Capacity: Very important because having to stop and add more water just adds to the time where you have to spend cleaning, especially if you are cleaning in the livingroom or hallway or some other area that has no sink: RS: only holds 10 oz of water. Miinutes of cleaning lasted for 10 RE: Holds 20 oz. of water. Lasted for over 20 minutes of cleaning (we stopped at 20 and it was still going) RH: Holds 11.83 oz of water. Lasted for 13 minutes of cleaning rm: Holds 17 oz. of water. Lasted for 15 minutes of cleaning RB: Holds 13 oz of water, lasted for 12.5 minutes of cleaning and you have to undo and remove the tank from the machine every time you then hook it up son it back on and the steam tank is on the handle rather than the base so the steam doesn 't flow directly out after heating up which may explain why it ' s not as hot once it leaves the machine. The mop is made this way the water flows past heating elements which can, according to Bissell, develop calcium deposits on it so this is the only mop where, because of this, you also have to use a water filter and replace it with the water filter when there is build up which means and extra 12 bucks every few months. Mops are made the better to heat the water in a metal tank so this is not an issue and you pour the water directly into the tank. R rSTEAM HOLE: We found a difference although you 'd think they ' d all be the same. The shark only had one hole that came out of the steam so it wasn 't cleaning things on the edge, just in one spot. All the others had steam coming from bottom and sides. r rSIZE The workshop is it the less stooping, the wider the mop head, the more it covers rs: 40 "Hx12 " Wx7 "D RE: 50 " Hx13.25 "Wx6.75 "D (The fact that this depth was smaller under REACH applicances made it better ... it fit better under things) RH: 50.5x11.5x7.5 rm: 48x12.7.5 RB: 45.25H (this was uncomfortably short) x11 x8.4 (even though this didn 't fit under cabinets BECAUSE OF THE DEPTH swivel did it the best) r rConclusion of comparison: First it must be pointed out that, in order to use the shark and the Bissell, you had to keep pumping water. This was the most annoying feature of anything ... the others just steamed on their own and didn 't wear out your fingers. Hated this feature of the shark and Bissell. We liked that the Monster and the Shark and the Bissell Envirosteamer and came with 2 cleaning pads rather than one. The Haan came with only one at the time of the review (I double checked when she bought hers since it was also only one and as of today, that Hasna 't changed) so that ups the price even more because I can ' t imagine only wanting one to clean. All worked well where sanitizing mattresses and showers. too. r rBut the winner picked unanimously by all of us as the mop WE WANT TO HAVE STEAM MOP for our next order? rThe Eureka Envirosteamer. It picked up the most dirt, was made as well as the Monster but was less expensive, held the most water, the most Emitted very hot steam so it Sanitized as well, lasted 3 times as long with one water resevor fillup as the others, and had a cord as long as the monster. BUT IF YOU HAVE CARPETS than I would recommend the Monster because it has a carpet attachment that allows you to steam clean your carpets and it picked up pretty close to the same amount of dirt as the Eureka Envirosteamer, and had close to the same features. Heavier though a bit .. but that may make it last even longer. It is costlier, but to clean surfaces 2 I would think that might make it worth it. R rUPDATE The haan just started including 2 pads with the mop according to the product description page. Not that this changes our opinion since it didn 't work as well and the parties were flimsier, but it should be noted that this issue of not having enough cleaning pads have now been resolved and is equal to the other Mops. R rANOTHER UPDATE: 1. The Shark came out with a new machine that holds more water and have a longer cord but it still only heat the water to 110 degrees so it won 't sanitize or get rid of grime trapped at this "bathwater " temperature. r rAnother update: I haven 't tried it yet but was told about an even better than the mop Eureka Envirosteamer but can ' t Afford IT PERSONALLY ... still, it 's worth mentioning in case you can. It 's called the Ladybug XL2300 steam mop and is a Canister. It heat the water to 298 degrees (Woah!) So it 'sa super sanitizer but it ' s over a thousand bucks. It also comes with 6 towels. I didn 't include it in my review because I haven ' t ever tried it and I wanted to include only Mops I personally tried but it 's got great stats enough that, even though it ' s out of my price range, I thought I 'd pass it on as a super sanitizer. r reales: Don 't spend money buying extra pads for the Eureka. I was in a pinch and used a kitchen dish towel ... kind ... just clip the rectangle on both ends. It worked just as good or better ... BECAUSE THEY ARE twinner so the steam penetrates faster and therefore hotter reaches the floor. However, I still would recommend only using the thick pads that come with it for your wood floors just to be safe. But the super hot steam penetrating the dish towel worked excellent on tile and hard floors. Also, you can flip both the towel and the pads that come with it on the Eureka to double the usage ... when it gets dirty, just flip it over and use the other side. I use several old dish towels with this but like the best kind that have just a bit of texture but no squares sewn on them ... but they all work great. So do the pads ... ..
After examining over 20 different steam MOPS / detergents for hard floors, I chose this. I am very happy! I wasn 'ta house when he arrived, but my husband was and as soon as he arrived he took it out and clean all of our hardwood floors and master bath. Said combing is much more fun now and do it more often. We have 2 large dogs (black lab. Bullmastiff e) in order to always have dried drool drool spots on our hardwood floors and mop the steam takes it right without leaving behind ANY water. Just make sure to go slow and use a fresh pad. Once you begin to notice the water left on the floor - just change the pad for a new and that will solve the problem. Othe on reviews I read the 19 'cable isn ' t long enough, but I think its abundance. I have a very simple solution and its called a cordon Extention if you need it. All in all, steam cleaner Haan is impressive throughout and can be used on our main floor, without recharging the water. Although it came with an attached tray mat I personally don 't think that will do anything in relation to a real carpet cleaner. We got this specifically for our hard floors, not carpet. I suggest, if you want a cleaner Capret, don 't cut corners and get this, because this is not as clean as a deep meaning cleaner for carpets. I hightly recommend! RBTW - pads can get up to 300 washes.
