I'm on my second Bissell Proheat 2X. The first, I bought four years ago and used it constantly. I have twin tots and two dogs, I feel I got my money out of the first machine. The reason I bought a second machine is that the hand on the attachment first broke and I got a lot on the newer model. The new also came with a myriad of attachments to an old didn 't have (the seller for me to be the tip). It also came with two large bottles of cleaner. RYesterday, I used on my stairs and upstairs all. We have a light colored shag rugs. I was astounded at what the machine picked up yesterday - when I emptied the water from the cleaning of stairs, was close to black. Carpet hadn 't even look dirty. I did the entire upstairs and used the tip to get under the wood trim on the floor. The upstairs looks and smells as fresh as when the carpets were new. I highly recommend this product. I took a star off because there is no automatic indictor on when you need to add more water. It was pretty much by trial and error for me. Otherwise, this machine is excellent. It heats the water to a very hot and has great aspirations to get the dirty water back. The cable is too long, I was able to do all the rooms upstairs, without moving the wire to different establishments. GH also recommend that people shop around - you can get this machine for $ 160 in some stores. It 's better than hiring a professional and knows ' where 's ' - I always wonder about the business professional! Will clean the crime scene with their machines? Yuck. I also hate having strangers in my house. He does a great job for what you pay for someone (not will deal with all the discussions), you can own this great product to use for years. Don 't be put off because I broke my addiction - I can be very destructive with vacuum cleaners etc!

When I bought this product 2 years ago, I thought "Wow " great deal. I found it easy to use, easy to clean, affordable and Cleans well. The first day I clean three rooms put it away for 6 months after .... clean a room and another .... 6 months later began shampoe carpet and 5 minutes it would not spray! I checked everything ... the belt, etc.. My wife was looking it over ... nothing. I took the bottom apart and clean all hands. I am sure is wrong. Tried it again ... not just suction. Bissell went to the website and the most frequently asked questions section about the issues explosion. I went to the section that my wife and can not solve the problem. My wife was certainly electric. I called Bissell, the nearest 5 Bissell Repair shop is 5 hours away and I would pay for the repair. I talked to a Customer Representative. She said nothing he can do. There is only a 1 year warranty with the product. So I arrive early? I clean the room aprox 4 for $ 250.00. Because Bissell didn 't work this time I rented a commercial cleaner for $ 35.00 for 4 hours. So I have shampoed the 4 carpets for $ 140.00. That said, I wouldn 't let anyone to buy. This item is a great product if it held up and if it is a better warranty, but as you can see I threw my money immediately. I do not buy another Bissell again if it can.

First, let me say that I was the owner of a vacuum cleaner before this. I 'm saying that because you can see good reviews, but was filtered, cheap plastic parts that hold the tank broke, but with effort, was a "right " work. R rthe Bissell is a great step forward. With a separate tank for cleaning solution, you can now adjust the amount of cleaner water that flows into, or completely shut off the rinse solution with clean water. The brushes are much better than the Hoover 's. Some commented that this model is filtered - I do not 't have this problem. The carpets have never been better and I 'm sure that hot water helps in this regard. The 're not only clean, but bear once more. I was less Bissell before, but with 3 cats and a dog that was just 't do. I was worried about other reviews about the machine falling apart, and have decided that it was not mounted properly. However, it takes time to meet, and worth it slowly and do it well. I am also concerned about the weight, and probably won 't be able to use it when the little ' m old, but for now consider it a gentle workout. I love the soap and separate water feature, as well as practical handle for lifting the water tank. It 's very easy to operate and are more rebellious spots.

I bought this about a few days ago and Got It Out for the second time today and the belt that turns the wheels continued to come off. I googled reviews on this and found that this is the case for many people. Sound IF YOU WANT TO BE YOUR STEAM CLEANER dismantling each use a screwdriver and put the belt on and off is the machine for you. So I do not like it 's design based. It has a barrier in cheap plastic which separates dirty water from clean and it takes many steps to clean up an area where he works. This is my second steam cleaner and definitely my worst purchase. If I was aloud to swear on this site that I would. This is crazy as I am with this machine. I bought this 1 month ago. The belt keeps coming out. Now I can not put any of the belts back together one piece cause it will not stay. Any help would be greatly appreciated wiould because I'm steaming mad!

There. R RWE bought this model to a local retail store late last week. I used another model of the same brand before (borrowed from the in-laws). I used it once on my sofa set - cheap in a cream-colored wall-to-carpet set it about 3 years ago by previous owners. Probably artificial fibers. Just sayin. R carpets rthe became uneven. We have a cat who has regularly hairballs and two to four years. The carpet was cream colored spots showing children around the computer, the two layers and areas of high traffic at each door. We had some washable Mark Mark here and there, and a sticky place. We live in the south, so we had the markings of red clay, too. R ri assembled the machine - had to travel long thin screwdriver between the garage because the end kind of change is too fat for the holes in the bottom handle. The assembly was easy, but I was left with an extra wand had no home. Ours came with a small, medium and large motor powered wand without wandering over a crevice. Forward Wet stroke, stroke wet front, rear DRY stroke, stroke DRY back. Had a little trouble with the suction at first but I later decided it was probably because the machine was overthrown while he was on. My mother bought a cheaper version of this product and raved about it. We expected this to be even better, but really wasn 't. Some pet stains (= diabetic cat food regurgitation) didn 't come out all that well despite following the directions to the T, pre-treating multiple times, cleaning with the brush attachment and then going over with the steam cleaner 5 + times. Also, I had a coffee stain it barely touched thus have to continue to cover it with my couch. r rit is great to simply clean the carpet but the extra "Pet Stain Removal " it boasts, is lacking. I 'd say about 8 / 10 stains came out. Yes, that is a lot of stains but we recently found out our cat had a myriad of health problems and I was constantly sick for a month while Adjusting to medications. So don 't expect the machine to be magic despite what it claims to do.

This machine went together very easily and works like a dream. The only problem I've read and seen the fine print / fine images with my bifocals. That 's not the fault mechanism. My carpet is nice and clean and the cleaning machine is very simple then. Mind you, first I've worked many years ago was as a janitor at a machine shop. Our previous Bissell cleaner is not the features of this model. Because the old model worked in so we bought this one shortly after we got our second puppy. Better than Stanley ship. Easy to use and very easy to clean after you are done. I give it 5-stars.

There are only 3 things that are good about this horrible machine: r1. This produces sufficient suction to not leave the carpet very wet after use r2. Heating element is optional r3. Detergent reservoir can be removed so that you don 't have to spray your carpets with stinking poison r rthe bad about this "in " clean very much: r1. Repeat applications are needed to really get a clean carpet r2. Sucking up dirty water from the carpet is a long task. R3. Belts that move the brush to fall out after almost every use r4. Belt accessed by unscrewing a few pieces of housing so that one must be very comfortable dismantle and put back housing r5. While the water tank with easy lift, the rest of the pieces have to open the lid after each use to clean the engine (and it was a dirty hit) r6. THE dirty water clean water reservoir bladder. This means that the reservoir and the bladder can be covered with dirty water and we must set aside the bladder to completely empty the dirty water. Disgusting! R7.
