Reviews
So far, so good. We have very light colored floors (carpet and hardwood). You do not even know a black cat and the Rottweiler to stay here. This vacuum has great suction even on barefloor settings. I'm not just going to buy again but I would recommend it to anyone, whether they have pets or not. The only reason I did not give five stars that I agree if you let the tube even get a little too full can be a bit messy to empty. However, it was my fault for not paying attention.
We purchased this item and like many were completely head over heels about it. We have four cats and it removed the pet hair like nothing we could imagine. 6 months later, it 'sa complete disaster. The belt constantly breaks, but worse, it gets clogged every time we use it. The suction is practically zero. We 'll be looking for another pet hair eraser this week.
Got the vacuum and wish I could return it! It is Awkward and bulky to use ....... the hose keeps coming loose so you can be vacuuming without it really working. It does not turn or move well and unless you 're cleaning a wide-open spaces with nothing else in the room - forget it! Really wish I hadn 't bought it!
Piece of junk! At first I was very impressed with the amount of hair (I own two Golden Retriever) and dirt it picked up. I thought the turbo pet brush that came with it worked very nice. But the turbo brush stopped working after only using it twice! It seemed the more I used the vacuum, the less suction you created. I cleaned it often and thought I was constantly having to take a broad brush to clean it. Taking the bowl off proved to be a mess too dirty. You definitely need to take the vacuum out of the box before taking the cleaning. But the result was, the more I used this vacuum, unless you get and the more she left behind! I had to keep going more and more the same area, but kept leaving behind some of the littlest things. Honestly, I don 't waste your money on it.
We 've now had the Bissell 3920 "Pet Hair Eraser " for a few weeks and are completely satisfied with the performance. We had a Hoover WindTunnel for about two years, but for months had noticed it was not to get the hairs of animals (two cats) to the extent desired. It wasn 'the suction clogged or the motor was damaged, he had simply never fully implemented as planned. That said, we 'd had a DirtDevil before Hoover and are even more dissatisfied. Thus the move to Hoover seemed to intensify. R rthe first time you use the Bissell was incredible. Less than a week after the carpet Hoover had covered the same area, the Bissell left with an amount totally unexpected hair, grain, and so on. We don 't have been happier (except for the fact that we were settling for the underperformance of the Vacuum for so long.) Since that time, we also used parts of cleaning the carpet of furniture, and also have performed at or above expectations. R rit 's not the lightest piece of equipment around, but there ' is easily taken up and down stairs. Overall, however, from our point of view of an acquisition of that great and that we could easily recommend to others.
I just bought a top-rated Hoover upright vacuum cleaner and thought it was work, but 'didn t like the smell of dog. (We have three cats and a Collie at home.) Our maid told us about the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser vacuum. I was skeptical but intrigued. After reading the Amazon reviews I took a chance and bought one. My "scientific " Tryout VAC call again with the new Hoover vacuum cleaner was at the Bissell (costing also less than half as much). I was surprised at the result! The Bissell came not only with large amounts of hair, but with earth and sand too. I could hardly believe my eyes, and immediately ordered a second from Amazon Bissell as I never want to be without one again.
I have five cats ... two of them had long hair. This vacuum is the answer to prayer. I've seen a big difference in the accumulation of fur and related allergin sneezing in the morning. R rThe only drawback is that it's a little heavy. I also have two sets of carpeted stairs, and even with large attachments, simply by dragging Behemoth the top and bottom. R rTwo thumbs up (but would like a mini version for the stairs).
I have owned this vacuum for less than a month and now I'm using my old Hoover vac until I know what the problem is. It worked great for the first few weeks and now the brush is not to spin. I guess I need a new belt! I 't beleieve belt may appear to soon but worned When I try to see how it works.
I have five cats and a dog. I have three stories that the house is almost velvet carpet, Berber-type carpet in the basement and a ceramic tiled kitchen area. I vacuum every day. I bought the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser on July 09 for $ 149 from the Base Exchange during my Dyson Animal brush is getting replaced because I wore it down vacuuming daily. What a mistake buying Bissell Pet Hair Eraser will advise and tell me the way I hate this vacuum and regret the purchase. R r1. Cord is on the back and down low in the unit. This is why you step on it and vacuum in it. I have broken in two places. My bottom is I ran the cord through the loop to handle. R r2. Hose is too short. Need to reach under the king size bed (which my cat hang out) in vacuum. The extension hose attachments can not reach the causes of units fall over me. There is not a head wide floor with the hose attachment to vacuum the floor white (around the toilet and other semi-small range) the unit floor brush keeps Spinning and sometimes vomiting remains in the air. The hose attachment loops around the unit to deposit dirt when vacuuming carpet. You need to put it in the establishment or it pops off. The attachment Pet Turbobrush not send dirt and debris in the cup of dirt. It was built up in the head and not make good on stairs. The Pet Contour Tool wasn 't that wonderful. You press hard and research across and furniture still long hair gets tangled in it. R r3. The units are louder than my Dyson. The dirt cup is small and gets backed up garbage on top of requiring you to reach up and pull it. The Pet Hair maybe made no difference in either up or down when vacuuming. It did not take litter off the bare floors very well. The first two months has also clean carpets. It really is not very good self-propelled and will make more effort to maneuver than the Dyson. As of May 09 is the loss of suction and brush hard of Berber-type carpet even the highest setting. May now a burning smell that comes from the unit. R RI does not recommend buying this product. I 'm glad I back to my Dyson. It costs $ 500.
Started much heavier than the previous work a little 'feet, but well ... lasted only four months! Pet hair removal spotty at best. Canister emptying a very poor design. Can 't return from where it was purchased (90 days past period and back) ... What a waste of money! Surely it can not recommend ...
What a waste of money. I love the vacuum when it first came. It sucked up so much dust from carpet is a thrill to use it. But in just over a year, it started loosing suction. Now it won 't pick up a popcorn kernel is using the hose right on top of it. Now, it also heats up the plastic parts in frightening temperature. I tried taking it apart but can 't find the problem. Who can buy a new vacuum once a year? Likely better to spend more on something with a good, long warranty. Now I know how to recycle this piece of garbage, seems a terrible waste to bring it to a landfill.
I rarely write reviews, but always read them, I felt it my duty to help others out. R rOVERALL: giving it four stars as a good carpet / upholstery vacuum. R RI that it had a vacuum for almost two years and it is wonderful for all types of carpet. It has as much suction is the day I bought it. I have four dogs ... It is wonderful for pet hair and dirt from carpeting. Use the pets lifter hair mode and it picks up dirt and hair like crazy. It is also well throw carpets. The doorways by making their work, full of fine dirt .. it gets it all! R Roh yes, the accessory tool is very good and works very well on upholstery. Only issue is the short hose length. R RI 'm not thrilled with it for the tile floor because it blows the hair and the dirt around quite a while and doesn ' t make a good seal the tile. R rit IS VERY VERY loud .. keep my dogs when it comes to.
I bought this vacuum because I have a dog that sheds and I read positive reviews. These are lies. This vacuum cleaner October spits dirt. Several times, I 've got to work a bit' by passing through the clogged pipe hangers, which I had to do Every Time I 've also tried to vacuum my carpet. I 've given up. I 've just used this vacuum and can not take anything to do with any attachments. I 've never seen anything like it. Should be advertised as the cleanest UNVACUUM REVERSE or vacuuming. Weapon of mass destruction to your home. A science project gone wrong. It 's go to the store of good will. Perhaps a "blank mechanic " will buy it and make it work. I wish I could come back, but don 't have the box or receipt. I will never buy a Bissell product again and I hope you won 't O.
This vacuum is absolutely amazing. I could try it the day it was delivered not wait, so I cleaned all carpets, including under and behind furniture, and suck off all the furniture. I have two cats and a guinea pig for my floor is covered with animal hair. I had just vacuumed two days before with my old vacuum, but quiet, remove containers filled with 4 Bissell pet hair from carpet and a jar full of furniture. My carpet was not as good since the day I moved into my apartment. The on-board attachments are ideal for cleaning furniture and get into small spaces between the furniture. I highly recommend this vacuum to all pet owners.
I wish I had seen the negative reviews before I bought the Bissell pet hair Draft. I thought I had researched enough, but definitely did not. It's a waste of money. DO NOT buy this machine! At first I thought he did well to collect all the dirt. Emptying the dirt cup is very little dirty and if it fills up quickly. The filters are hard to get and they clog easily. The belt broke on the first day I got it. We have replaced, but still smells of burning rubber and makes an annoying sound every time you vacuum. And for some reason, as empty, it spews all material is growing thanks to you through the hose instead. But the main thing that never fails to turn the rotating brush - even upright. When I was using the tools of attachment, melted my carpet! I contacted the customer service Bissell. They were not helpful. It was suggested that the use of tools in one hand and tilt back into the void with his other hand. Talk of a preposterous solution that is not functional at all. Needless to say I will never buy another Bissell product again.
My parents were nice enough to buy this vacuum for me and my two dogs. When we finally got it together and tried it, I was just amazed! I have a rug with black square pattern and the black box is literally light Gray from all the pet hair on it. When I vacuumed it look brand new! After about 10 uses I noticed it was not cleaning as well as it was when I first tried it. Over several months has really failed to pick up any of the pet hair on carpeting. Now my carpet is dirty again and the vacuum doesn 't help at all I ' m looking to get a new vacuum pet hair. Plus one of my dog accidentally broke it and now it doesn 't work at all I feel is more pet hair than the vacuum can handle. If you have a small dog or cat vacuum is likely to work just fine for you. But if your own giant breed dogs, like, that shed a lot, vacuum is likely not a good match for you.
I too have 2 long haired cats and was drawn to this model based upon it 's name. I can see that people either love this vacuum or harbor deep seeded resentment towards it personal. I decided on this one based mainly on price. Sooooo I have owned many vacuum cleaners over the years. I paid too much for all of them, and they were all big disappointments. I bought the Kirby vacuum because i let the salesperson into my home when I was much more naive about these things. He convinced me to spend $ 1,200 on a "complete " cleaning system for my first home. I could have sold ice to Eskimos as that amount of money 20 years ago was like $ 12,000. r rover the years I have purchased many other less expensive disappointments, but the price to value wasn 't there in any of them. Oreck, Electrolux, Hoover, and the list goes on. r rI Have Decided that they all suck (no pun intended) and just don 't do well over the long haul, regardless of price. I no longer view as an investment vacuum cleaners, but Merely a tool to get the job done and something that you will likely replace in a few years no matter how much you "Invested. " R rI am a woman and I put this thing together myself in 20 minutes. I agree the instructions are useless and I worked from the picture and my own common sense. There are only 3 screws and the rest are snap on parts. I don 't think this vacuum is loud either. It makes a sound I would expect from a vacuum cleaner. No more, no less. It is a bit heavier than my previous vacuum (Oreck), but not by much. I just did the maiden voyage and vacuum my carpets and could see all the pet hair and dirt in the holder. I like being able to see what I picked up and not having any bags to deal with is a plus. R rI spent $ 150 as Opposed to $ 550 for the Dyson pet hair model. Only time will tell if spending the extra $ 400 for a Dyson would be been a better choice, but I doubt it.
It lasted for 3 years, but I wish it would die. Yes, I collect them all, but as other reviews have stated, is big, heavy, clumsy, and cleaning the filter is a mess. The intake pipe bottom is blocked. We 've used the handle of the hammer toy our children to remove the debris. It 's difficult to use on stairs Since the pipe Isn ' t long enough and you need to balance this large beast on the pass away and wipes. Yes, it lasted for cleaner today unlike many that are broken within a year. I 've never had problems with the belt breaks or problems with aspiration, so for that I am grateful. If I could do it again, I would buy a vacuum cleaner with a light filter bag (not without a lot) so I don 't need to review the dirt that I just cleaned.
Please. all complain that this product needs to take a sedative or a comment with honesty. This was my first time buying a vaccumm Internet. I say that I did not know how to choose the most suitable, since there are tons of vaccumms. OS What do I do? I chose according to the "star " ratings. if he saw that the product had more than 25% 1 / 3 and Star Ratings not consider buying it. I chose this because it was my sisters election. My sister and I didn 't agree. I had another option we threw a coin and Guess what? ... did win. R Rafter given the "star " scores I go ahead and read the pros and cons. I was very skeptical about that time, because the counter did seem like a really bad product. this test is that it was very high .... T Nooo IT Wasn 'YOU CRY BABY. If you have sensitive ears should know that the people of this fact. I was miserable that individuals or a personal problem or that person was one of them. I live in the empty apartment and my mother from the room. I 'm in my room, which is less than 20 feet away and of course I feel, but not even that loud. is quieter than the dirt devil had. I loved this product. and on weight. I 'ma healthy AVERAGE DUDES I know it feels like you weigh 10 pounds. It is not heavy. All those who complained of noise and has a weight problem. It is a great product. R rwhen arrived I was surprised. wine there 's original box but it looked used. There were staples holdig box set and that was a shock, but when I opened the box was completely new, and that figure. The first time that I became really laughed comments that comlained noise. R RSO to please try if it 's first. it really works. I have 3 cat 's. 9 rabbits. 6 birds.1 turtle. and 2 snakes. all in a 2 bedroom apartment. There was hair everywhere and this vacuum the carpet was cleaned so well. I should have taken a photo or video to make my comment more credible, but hey. you try and show us the vineyard. R rHAPPY CUSTOMER HERE ... MY FIRST REVIEW TOO. I had to do> Everything you miserable ploramiques> TAKE A CHILL PILL
This is a big vacuum. I've had for more than two months. I have white Berber carpet and a black lab dog hair sounds very visible. Machine itself worked wonders and always note the hair and the carpet dirt free. *** My only complaint is the Stretch Hose Flexible Hose *** The semi-clear plastic with a metal coil that is used is used hold the ribbing for support. Metal coil like to sliky, if it comes out of the ribbing in the folds of which the cause itself plasic tube to close. What a dissapointment because it really is a vacuum, but now I have to start all over again trying to find a new one: (
I vacuumed yesterday with a vacuum that was a year old, although Admitedly was a little less empty. We went to buy rubber pet hair from last night. Obviously, there was a lot of other vacuum had left behind. R RWE 've had a cat less than a year, but it seems that our carpets were very dirty. We only have 2 bedrooms with carpet, but three times fill the container. Not only the hair is collected, but many tons of earth. Our carpets look new! I thought they would have to be replaced soon. R Rof course, the test will be how long this thing lasts ...
I had this vacuum for about 8mos. It worked well, but the hose lasted so thats why I only gave this product 3 stars. Also the 1yr. warranty did not cover the hose
right of poor quality of the box that obstruct the first time he had not used all actions tried again and you should pay for shipping back was so bad that he went to buy another vacuum is that this small shark I feel wonderful 2 emails to the company and the lack of response so I do not recommend closing the gap on earth -5 stars
I love this vacuum, if it 's work. I hate having to dismantle it every 3rd use to unclog these different points. I feel like I also used to repair vacuum after about a year of this property. There are several removable parts, which makes maintenance easy to point, but then it starts to feel like a puzzle every time you lose suction. R rHowever, once you get all working properly, can take a room full of golf balls. Just get used to taking it apart and put it together. Fortunately, I 'm lazy and I don ' t vacuum as is (which is half the problem, I suppose)
I can 't believe there is a positive review of this piece of garbage. After much research, we decided on the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser because our dog shed a lot. Works well for about 3 months ... and then stopped picking up quite a lot of things from the floor. Who worked so bad for sometimes I think that ADDS to the carpet. I 've tried to unclog it, use different settings, often empty ... It just doesn 't work.
