Reviews

I have the Bissell Steam Mop. But one thing I dislike is that you must have got loose crumbs no matter how small. I would love it if there is any way to pick up small crumbs. It makes your floor cleaner has a nice long cord. I think it makes more work, because you need to wake the first floor to make sure no loose rcrumbs are on the ground. Cleans large spots. Saying that, I do not buy back a lot of work that needs all in one. This machine has twice the time to clean your floor.

When my daughter joined our family I became more aware of the products I was used to clean our home and the amount of chemicals in products. I decided to give a steam mop to try to clean our kitchen linoleum floor, considering how much time he spends crawling around and playing with it. R rOverall love this steam mop. It 's easy to use, and the only thing it requires water. You just plug it in, give it a moment to heat water and then go immediately to you. I love that I m 'not spending money on a chemical cleaner, and the pads you use them is machine-washable so I save more money that way. It 's very light weight and versatile, it pivots well as deceiving you around the floor. R RA some items from India: r r1) I tend to find myself pushing the mop a little more than I really need to push it across the floor, and by the time I ' m already notice my back is just a tiny bit sore. 2) The strings are not too long. Thankfully my kitchen is not that great. Can I just make them the opposite side of the room without having to move to another outlet, but if I have a bigger kitchen I'd have to switch to another plug to finish the room. 3) If you 're trying to clean a really dirty floor or on a very sticky position on the floor you HAVE to give the mop of time to work - it doesn ' t take the dirt and grime immediately . You have to move it to the floor slowly, and give the steam time to penetrate the dirt before the pad can be taken. In other words - you can 't in a hurry cleaning your floor if you want it to do a good job. But if you take your time carefully and you 'll have a tremendous clean floor, and it drys quickly - the amount of water left on the floor is very very small. R RI will certainly recommend it - I 've it for about 2 years now and never had any issues. It takes up little space in my closet and only takes a moment to get ready to use.

I fell in love! First I have to say, I hate mopping. HATE mopping. Avoided. Unfortunately, with the age of 3 years and 8 months old and beautiful wood floors in the dining room, I have to mop. Baby cereal for the concrete to dry on anything and rubbing involved to get them from almost made me get a dog to eat as quickly as it fell (fly!) I saw this commercial and the wooden floor and the baby could eat from them and thought it could ' t hurt to try. I love it! I'm just the kitchen and dining room in about 10 minutes, they were clean, (including under the high chair really a war zone), I 'm not tired or store products of 7, and no chemicals to worry for the baby! Does it dry as quickly as you say? I 'd say no, you'll have to give it about 10-15 minutes, though I think it would dry faster if I use less water? I keep the steam running at all times (there 'sa trigger so you can gauge how much you use.) If I'm in a hurry, I guess I could use less steam, and it will dry more quickly, perhaps to the floor of almost clean already. I 've used two times now (really want to check it before review) and I highly recommend it. Especially for anyone with the kiddos on the floor (or pets I would think.) SO nice not to worry about chemical residues. OH and you can use it to clean, too! Love it, love it, love it! I want to know if this will work in the tub ...

I work at home and my office is in my kitchen. I also have a 3-year-old and a 1-One-year-old. Our Vinyl Flooring take a beating. Actually, I thought it was very well ruined. Even after washing with a regular mop and heavy-duty cleaner, it seemed dirty. R ri bought a steam cleaner on the small chance that could cool the vinyl. I was pleasantly surprised when my first theft seemed an infomercial! I cleaned the area where my desk chair rolling sits, and he cleaned the floor so well, I could hardly believe it. MOP ended up doing a great job in my entire floor. My floor looks much cleaner, we are back to our plane waiting to put in hard wood floors until the kids are older. R r couple of things worth mentioning (most repeated in other reviews) r * The floor should be wiped off really well for the mop to do the best job possible (like any other MOP) r * When I use steam a lot, for example, when my desk chair sits on the pad is very wet. These areas take some time to dry and can Streak. I usually change the pad at least once when I do the whole kitchen. The never-drying takes longer than a regular Dries and MOP is usually much faster, but takes longer than the "second " sometimes promised by these products. R * It takes about 20 seconds to clean up an area, the sound unless you have to scrub every day, so be sure your Sanitized floor. However, it will leave it very clean. Sanitize the area and my daughter to crawl and make purchases just rub the rest. R * The pads have enough time to dry. I recommend removing them after you mop and hang them to dry. My mop at least came with two pads that is useful. I also bought extra that I have enjoyed since I use the mop frequently. R ri have had this steam mop a little more than a month and he replaced my regular mop. It is slightly less effective than a good washing hands and knees, but is much less work! I love the fact that I'm not using any chemicals on the floor of the mine, and I don 't cringe when children enter the room after I mopped. R rThis MOP was well worth the money and became an important part of my routine cleaning. I highly recommend it.

I 'I went shopping and comparing maze until I leave. All manufacturers were looking alike. But for my money Bissell has "name " I have hardwood floors and a small dog that you leave the ground. Oh! and a husband who takes the lead in the refrigerator, dishwasher and sink. This cleaning everything. Republic of Korea, if the ground is very rough go over a few times. Not much, right? I live in New Mexico, and is extremely dusty. The Bissell Steam Mop has collected all the grain! I can 't say enough. I 'm clear that I did my homework and took the mop. RThrow the mop away OLD !!!!!

it works well. it cleans the stains but with a few scrubbings. it doesn 't just go over the stain once and the stain goes away. i would buy it as a present for someone. it is better than mopping the floor on your hands and knees.

I 'm very impressed with two things actually. I ordered this product Sunday night and Tuesday morning Accepted with free shipping. Way to go Amazon! The Bissell Steam Mop, it works great. Sliding on the wood and ceramics. A little sticky on the linoleum, but not doing the job very well. Have not seen any streakiness. I highly recommend this product.

while this is my first steam mop, I knew from the second time I use it at another time that I would buy a steam mop that would be different. i 've had a little less than one year. It fell to the one point and one of the tracks reservoirs to halt the slide. still survive, and has held most of the time this (i think that happened the first week I had it). Ri never changed the filter, but then it 's never looked like that need to be changed. cost of replacement filters and cover (which in the end you will need a) bump up the price is too much for quality. This day began spitting steam and water out of the unit. while it is a good starter, I would not recommend this product to others.

This is a good item because it saves time and kills the germs on a "green " cleaner, water! Rit is the second one I purchased. RThey last much that if you change the filter every year. Rthe pads are great to just throw in the washer and you are done with your floor cleaning. RNo mop and water to spill and it is so much dirt and germs are killed. RI have 3 dogs so it is very important in killing germs on the floor. RI used in tile and floating floors. Rit does not leave water on the floor.

This floor cleaner is amazing! I have an older combination of traffic and the floor, floor wax and clean, and utinsels and ineffective cleaning products, and my kitchen floor was miserable. Not anymore! First Time Around the Bissell took a little time ... Remember, "pathetic. " But now my bottom is looks like new. I am so excited that my floor clean again. The product is easy to use and the price is right. Thank Bissell.

(Update: This review was updated on 11-2-09 after I learned to compare the Bissell, but also add notes on the bottom liner Ladybugged) r ri live in a neighborhood where Each home is "Built Green certified ", this means that to have this certification, the builder has built houses with no carpets. All floors are polished concrete main and upper floors of wood. The bathrooms are all tile and / or a list in each home. R rBecause of this, as you can imagine, steam mops are quite the neccessity ... Because costs include not only hard surfaces, more than anything else, but because they are "green " and cleaning without chemicals. I 'll be honest, for us ... that 'SA were not bonuses, but we ' t clear before chemical cleaning. We love without chemicals for our pets 's legs, but I ' ll admit that I was cleaning with chemicals before I am my steamer and kept pets out of the room while doing it because, until then I don 't Get it clean otherwise. r Rokaya, so said. .. This was the most disturbing feature of anything ... others just steamed on their own, and don 't wear out your fingers. Hated that feature shark and Bissell. We liked the Monster and shark and Envirosteamer and Bissell came with 2 cleaning pads rather than one. Le Coq comes with only one at the time of the exam (I've checked when she bought her own since he was also one and now that Hasn 've changed) so that the price UPS even more because I can 'imagine no one wanting to clean. All worked well on the disinfection of mattresses and showers. too. R Rbut the winner chosen by us all as the mop unanimously we want for our next order steam mop? Rthe Envirosteamer Eureka. He picked up more land has been made and the monster, but was less expensive, has held the most water, water vapor emitted over very hot, so sanitized as well and quickly wiped hard on tides, lasted 3 times longer with the same water tank filler like others, and had a rope as long as the monster. But if you have carpet that I can recommend the monster because he has a carpet attachment that the trial Write to steam clean your carpet and picked up very near the same amount of dirt as Envirosteamer Eureka, and had close to same functionality. .. a little heavier so in May but still make it last longer. It is more expensive, but clean surfaces 2 I think it might be worth it. R RUpdate: The Rooster has just started with 2 blocks with the mop after page of product description. Not that this changes our view because it didn 't work as well and the parties were less resistant, but it should be noted that this issue does not have enough cleaning pads have now been fixed and is equal to mop others. R rANOTHER Update: 1. The Sharks came out with a new machine that contains more water and has a longer cable, but the fact remains that the water heater to 110 degrees so it won 't disinfect or dispose of dirt trapped at this "bathwater 'temperature. R update rAnother: I don 't tried it yet but was told about an even better than the Eureka Envirosteamer MOP but I don ' personally afford ... yet, it 's worth mentioning if you can. It 's called the Ladybug XL2300 and is a canister MOP. It heats water to 298 degrees (woah!) So c 'sanitizer his super mais c ' is more than a thousand dollars.Il also comes with 6 towels. I don 't you include in my review because I don ' has never tried and I wanted to include only mop I have personally tried, but it 's stats got big enough that even if c ' is out of my price off, I thought I 'd pass it as a disinfectant for super when I read about it. R als: Don 't spend money buying extra pads Eureka. I was in a pinch and used a kitchen towel ... Gender rectangular ... Just clip on both ends.He has worked as well or better ... because they are thinner so the steam penetrates quicker and hotter then reached the floor. However, I still recommend using only the thick pads that accompany your hardwood floors just to be sure. But the super-hot steam to penetrate the cloth worked great on tile and hard floors. Also, you can invert the plates and napkins that accompany the Eureka double use ... when it is dirty, just flip over and use the other side. I use several old tea towels, but what I like best the kind that just a little texture but not sewn squares on them ... but they are all excellent work. So do the pads ... ..

This is the greatest invention in years! It's really clean our floors like nothing before it. Do not leave wet, but just going over the ground quickly with a stylish suede and I 'm done.

This does not really clean. It spreads the muck only to already existing, making a mess Streaky. Don 't waste your money!

I am a neat freak. I have white ceramic floor in the dining room and kitchen mop and thought it sounded great so I bought it. What is biting back. I used it in my hallways (pergo) and had to get on my hands and knees to dry it off. I used it on my ceramic tile and had to towel dry it too. The mop is clean, the water is hot and while I was talking to Bissell phone I plugged the machine and had a represenative guide me through the process. Still, many standing water. My floor was slick when wet so my only option is to hand dry them. Leaving the ceramic floor dry on her own took about 6 minutes and left lots of streaks. If I had more time to clean the floor and dry hands that I would likely keep the thick hair but wanted a way to get out of the kitchen proudct faster so it does not work for me.

After reading reviews I decided to buy this Bissell steam mop. This is a very good decision. As soon as I received it I put it together (which is incredibly easy), read by short instructions, and started using it. It works amazing! I was actually very report on how well it cleaned my floor (which is linoleum tile and ceramic also Italian). It worked wonders in both. Cleaning the pad is a wind. I tossed it in my washing machine and is ready for another cleaning. You have two pads with thick hair it. This is my first steam mop so I can not compare it to any others, but I am very pleased with it and one recommended it to anyone.

If I knew that I needed to spend 20% of the cost of this unit repeatedly to filter water that doesn 't last as long as they predict, I'll get one without a filter. Also, you can not through the filter, and if you don 't change your home steam smells like fish. It also does not leave the floor wet than I 'd like steam out of a mop, but I can live with it, like a dried up faster than mops / buckets will. R rI would recommend that you get one without a filter. They sell "aroma oil " now I know that your home doesn 't smell when you're finished using it, but it will not ' t this contribution to the shortened filter life?? R rI 'm all green cleaning, but at what price?

This product does what it says it will do. I use it on my laminate and vinyl flooring and does a good job of making them look clean (get rid of stains, etc.). I love how I don 't have to use more chemicals to clean my floor ! My only dislike is the amount of water leaving the floor - I just have to be careful in how long I hold the trigger. Other than that, I like this product.

I tried the Bissell 1867-7 Steam mop for about 6 months. I wasn 't even with the amount of water it left on the floor (not to be impressed wet) and the water was hot enough. The soils have to feel a lot cleaner, and it was easy to use. What I discovered is, the grip is very heavy and would fall over easily when I backed into a corner. It has finally completely from the mop head. I called Bissell and they sent me understand the play wrong, where it broke. Bissell, I called back and they told me I had to take to save a cheap repair, they considered it to have. The 50 miles for me (too far), so I 'm going to buy another brand and just call it a loss that was not worth it.

Well, I read the comments and went ahead and ordered. R rAbout my house: 1000 square feet of tile, below. 2 Dogs (1 greater than the leak), 2 kiddos. R rPros: 1. Easy to put together. R 2. Easy to use! R 3. Does a great job. R 4. Clean the floor very well. R 5. After that no odors of other cleaning products. R 6. Dries very fast - I read some comments about this and definitely agree that it dries faster than a normal scan r, even a sponge mop! I did my bathroom floor that seems to take an hour to dry normally and dried at 20 r minutes. R 7. The tank seems to do a lot of ground yet to make all the tiles you have to fill about 5 to 6 times. R 8. It is very lightweight and easy to handle. My children can use it! R 9. Heats up quickly! R rCons: r 1. It has a very short cable, but that would only be a problem for those who like me, have a lot of tiles. R An extension cable is a must if you Don 't want to move the plug around. R 2. The ADP / vapor surface could be higher as it would be easier to let the 15 to 20 seconds at a point r disinfect. R 3. I would like a shorter period disinfect. Unless you have a small section to disinfect never do r all the tiles in this way unless you have absolutely nothing to do all day! R rOverall: I am very happy with purchase and recommend to all my friends and family. It's exactly what I thought r I was coming and in some respects better than the reviews.

I run a home daycare and I 5-10 kids anywhere in my home for 10 hours per day 5 days a week ... my floor get dirty really fast. I am using MOPS Shark steam for 2 years for fast, but still mopping by hand in almost all hours of the shark does not seem fair so well. My old steam mop died so I was looking for a new model and came across this beauty! It is very high quality sound and works well! Seems to put a lot more steam than the shark and it will leave a little water on my tile and linoleum floors, but no more than a regular mop you want to do. I love the swivel head to these things ... great feature. Only con is that you have to hold the opening down the whole time for steam to come out and get a bit hard on my hands / fingers after awhile. If not, I would easily give this product 5 stars!

After seeing a commercial for Shark steam mop that claimed to have the floor dry in a few seconds, I ordered the Bissell Steam MOP, assuming it worked the same way. WRONG! Like use a wet mop, the floor is kept wet to dry by itself. Loss of money. Don 't bother.

I had this mop for about 3 months now. It does a fantastic job. It cleans well, it 's fast and I like the fact that I am not spraying or using chemicals on my hardwood floors. I used it in my bathroom with ceramic tiles as well, but I use most often in my kitchen and hardwood bottom ... very happy. The only Falls Down its stand, it is not robust follow up, pitched one and one little piece of broken plastic that helps retain water in the container on the back. I have to use a rubber band around the container of water to ensure it remains now. Thus, setting a new base can be difficult sometimes if you put the mop to do, water will leak out of the MOP head. Overall, it 's light weight, does a good job and I am satisfied. Certainly for the extra-MOP pads yet, it is useful!

I can 't believe someone does not like this Steam MOP. My whole house is tiled and it works very well and leaves no stains. The striped floor because he was too dirty and now You 're just moving the dirt around. There is a broom / RP. Should start. I have extra pads and switches out about 3 times throughout the house, then throw in washer. The pads are dirty and need to switch to a clean or rinse the one you are using. You will be surprised how dirty your floors are when you really start to use the steam sweep. After impressive walk on bare feet, so clean! For those of you with wood or laminate floor good luck, are simply difficult to clean and keep clean. So I guess what I'm saying, this product is ideal for tile floors.

This steam mop left my wet. The pad was saturated after a few minutes of use, which makes the ground very wet. I decided to clean the water with a paper towel and guess .... that the water was dirty! You pretty much just pushing around dirty water on your floor. If you want to do this you should just stick to your mop and bucket. I recommend you steer clear of this product.

Pro - Easy to use / operate. Heats / is ready quickly. Water container is removable to be filled at the sink. Tablets are easy to attach and clean. Use only water. Very quiet. Guide to set up / guide to cleaning. Trigger allows you to toggle the vapor, so if you feel you are getting too much water vapor, it can release the trigger (more flexible than the models that the time had all the steam are linked). R rcon - Cable length is a bit 'short, not unmanageable, but shorter than I would have preferred. R rOverall - You get what you pay for. MOP $ 100 for a steamer, you get an easy to use and convenient to absorb the floors. Don 't expect the heat blast grime away from hard white mortar, but we expect a good, easy to clean similar to using a mop / bucket, but without the hassle and mess. GL R have had my broom steam for about a month and I like much more than a standard mop / bucket. I have brown mottled brown and tile grout to use on (I have not rolled linoleum or wood floors). I suspect as happy as you are with this rag all depends on your flooring. It leaves the floor slightly wet, but dries quickly, and far more quickly than a mop / bucket. I haven 't noticed any stripes, but I think it could be because of my speckled tiles / fantasy (that's why I took that tile in the first place!).
