I live in a 3-story townhome with DH and 4 cats. I have a full size boat carpet work well. But with 4 cats, there are a lot of "spot here, there is a " type of cleaning is required between the full carpet cleaning. Because some health problems, I had difficulty carrying goods up and down the stairs. R rThis has become the best solution for dealing with stains and spots that I have ever found. I 've had 3 different models of this product and None of them worked more than 3 times. The first one came DOA, not the suction pump. Return it for a variety of it, worked twice and then nothing to suction. Third one worked a few times again, then stopped. Customer service walked me through some things each time to try to get it to work, but no joy. Finally the last one left on the front porch hoping that someone will steal it, but the thieves apparently smarter than me. Based on the reviews I 'm glad there are so many folks enjoyed the SpotBot, but I wonder how many used it more than a couple of hours. These are not strong enough for me to ever try again.

This is the best $ 130 I spent! My husband and I adopted a puppy a week, and this little miracle has paid for itself already! I've used both the surface and put in spots and had great results with both. Very easy to use and easy to use. If used without clean oxygen can leave the tank full of clean water for quick use, just be sure to empty and clean the dirty tank after each use. It beeps every few seconds until you physically go over and turn it off. Understand addition as far as I could, cleaned, reassembled. That fixes the problem for weeks, but began again shortly. I decided to ignore it because it seems to be even cleaner. I've never written a product review before but feel free to do it for SpotBot. I have a new puppy that refuses to go potty outside in the rain. You can imagine the state of my rug. I actually thought I 'd have to replace my carpet, but it SpotBot works great, and I absolutely love the small size and the fact that I can walk away and do it in his work. I bought this at a local store for $ 129 about 3 weeks ago. I used it two times on the auto setting. It worked fine, did what I wanted to do it and I liked that you could walk away and let it clean. On the third try, I decided I needed to use the manual hose. I followed the instructions about pressing the button for manual within thirty seconds after releasing the hose grip, but the light just blinked and the manual hose never worked. I unplugged the machine and tried again and still nothing. I called the company, explained the problem and was told to take it to a repair shop. They gave me the number for the repair shop nearest my house (25min away). I called and the repair man told me to return it to the store since it still fell within that particular store 's return time frame. He said that the spotbot is a good idea, but they have many, many issues that result in costly repairs that are worth more than the machine itself. He said if I brought it to him, all he would do is return it to the company and they 'd give me a different one and it would take a long time. I have no intentions of buying another bissell floor cleaner again. R rI also noticed a tiny amount of water leaking from the hose where it ties to the machine. I assume this is not normal and would eventually have been an issue also.

I was told to buy this company for the removal of the stain from different people in the workplace. They were right, this is a great product. My only complaint would be leaving the carpet damp (almost wet). Removes stains very well though, all things considered I would highly recommend it!

I love this product! Several days a week, should get on hands and knees with a toothbrush to clean carpets and clean up after my cat has a delicate stomach. With the spot I put the button on the machine brushes the top of the spot, press a button and leave. Becomes contrary to CLEANING hand wash. I Don 't know how I lived so long without knowing this product out there! For me it is money well spent.

I have two dogs and was excited to receive this for obvious reasons. Rand, let me tell you, before this purchase, any dirt left in the old well. GH bought this for the future "Release " dry up. I'm just using this product 4 or 5 times and the unit stopped working. Motor running but the suction was stopped. I felt it was ok to clean the carpet, although I need to repeat the rinsing to get all the solutions out of the carpet fibers. For the money spent I'm very disappointed.

Good product, but the suction is not the best. Carpet remains fairly wet, and I smear it on a towel, to get up more water. Meu all, a pretty good product. The Company, Bissell, needs only to improve suction. That is why I did not give it 5 stars. RPrice is pretty good though. I haven 't used it but once, so I ' t tell how it is done, where a term basis. RMost what I bought from Amazon.com is great product. Just yesterday I got the Spot Bot. As far as the old stigma that I treated --- wow! Come to the right the first time! Especially the dirt that I was afraid I would just scrub with a deeper, did a good job with these types of stains. We got this for our kiddo babies and pets. It looked great job on the carpet. We still need to test the stain on our sofa, but we are happy so far. I'd say the only complaint is that it does take a lot of solution and you don 't Get a much more out of it, but seriously, ' s on bot SPOT, no carpet or house bot ... I know what to expect: D. Worked a lot on vomit stains on our carpet. R ref you are considering this, just know that is a cleaner place, not a whole carpet / furniture cleaner, is not large for 's title / job.

I've had this issue for over 1 ½ years now. Still works perfectly. I'm a little concerned about the cleanliness of the hose, since it is looking a little dark. Instead of using chemicals mad that Bissell provides or suggests that the use of Seventh Generation carpet cleaner. Simply follow the instructions and add the cleaner the same as Bissell 's cleaner. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats, and my 2 year old wall to wall carpet stainmaster (which cost me a couple thousand dollars) was a disaster! Housebreaking is always a challenge, and even a housebroken dog has occassional accident, so I was Hoover Hauling my full-sized shampoo out way too often. I 'm told it ' s not good for your rugs to shampoo them too much, but you get to a point where you do 't care. I had just shampoo them, then offered to dog-sit for a puppy I was told that was "Doing well on housebreaking ". Not sure what her owner 's definition of "doing well " was, but the dog went on my carpet more times than I could count over the 4 days I had her. R rCombine that with the 9 week old Australian Shepherd I just brought into my pack, who actually is doing very well on housebreaking, but got sick a couple times, and I was ready to cry. Then I saw this little miracle shampooing machine and ran right out and bought it. It works great! Old Stains of unknown origin that were all down my stairs were easily eliminated (my upright doesn 't have hose attachments and I wasn ' t able to clean the stairs). If the puppy has an accident, big deal! I 've got my SpotBot out and the stain is gone. Even the really disgusting accident. And the solution leaves a nice scent behind. R rWhat I really love about this is that I can put it on the Automatic setting, then go make myself a sandwich, clean somewhere else, sit and play the piano, drink a glass of wine and watch Ghost Hunters ... anything I want .... and come back a few minutes later to find a nice clean rug. The manual setting works very well too. R rPersonally, I like that the spray radius is wider than the brush attachment. You cover more surface area with the solution in one spray, and then just move the brush around to clean up the whole area. R rit 's simple to use, lightweight, and very easy to clean. Just watch out for the hole in the top of the dirty tank when you go to empty it out. For some reason, I was thinking I 'd have to unscrew something at the bottom of the tank and I poured all that filthy water down the front of myself.

I have two small dogs who are still in potty-training, and the SpotBot works great on their injuries on my cream carpet. r rHowever, I was amazed when I let my friend borrow it. We 'd accidentally spilled a whole bottle of red wine on his cream-ish carpet and he LEFT IT THERE overnight. I let him borrow my SpotBot goal was not expecting great results. I was truly impressed when he was able to get the entire stain out of his carpet without much fuss. We purchased this machine 4 days ago and WOW. It works wonderfully. We were concerned that it would be another 'gadgets "that took too long to pull out, then put together and clean afterwards. This was the main reasons some would have to multiple spots before we broke out the full size carpet cleaner. (For those of you with pets or children, you know what I mean.) Rusinga Island it is almost too easy. You add water to the correct line, pour in the solution to the correct line and then you are done. Put the machine on the spot you want it to eradicated and push the automatic media appropriate button. It is very fast and does a awesome job. It is much better than trying to sop up the mess with paper towels or rags. Once done, it will beep until you finally press the stop button. You then take out the dirty water tank, dump and rinse it out. That 's it. R rGranted we have only used it 4 times, but it has removed cat and dog to vomit and oil stain. The machine is a little loud and does leave the carpet damp but nothing out of the ordinary. We wish we had purchased this machine years ago. RThis is a great spot cleaner and a life saver for people with pets or children. It is fast, easy and it works well. It seems sturdy and doesn 't feel like it will break if you hold it wrong. It even has parts that you can purchase online as they wear out and seem affordable. I will update this post if we find the durability to be lacking or if we run into major problems. All in all, it is worth every penny. R r r9/22/09 Update - After using this product, we still like it but have noticed some areas for improvement. The machine doesn 't rinse the soap out of the carpet so the cleaner will attract dirt. A week after using the product, it was very easy to see where we had used it to clean up cat barf. Another problem we found is it doesn 't do so well with dog marking. (Yes, we think it is beyond gross .. where is the Dog whisper when you really need him??) We used the pet formula 3 times on one spot and the yellow stain was still there. We did a test and the oxy formula did better but the stain was still visable. We had to break out our hoover and it pulled up the leftover stain and smell in one pass. rI have to agree with what other reviews have said that it does leave the carpet damp. Using the handheld suction does fix it up but you would think it could do a little better. rThis product is great to do the initial cleanup but it isn 't the automatic solution we are all dreaming of. It goes through solution very quickly and I would only suggest the Oxy formula after you have tried everything else. RHere are some design flaws we noticed. When the dirty water tank is full, the SpotBot doesn 't stop it cycle. You will hear a change in the noise but it isn 't any sucking up water. It will complete the full cycle Which is unfortunate. Also, the beeping ... Make it stop beeping. I am, like everyone else, multitasking when using this product and I don 't stand there waiting for it to complete. After it completes it cycle, it will beep every 5 seconds till Eternity! Sure we need to know that it is done, couldn 't they have just made it beep for 30 seconds or something less obnoxious? R rall in all, GREAT for cat stains, doesn ' t work on our dog markings. If you are willing to put up with the little things that can be annoying, then this machine is for you.

I 'm so glad I bought the SpotBot. We have 3 cats, nothing has gotten in October accident and yak stains better than this Cleannes. I 've tried all kinds of different spray bottle and they never seem to get it all up and the cats go right back to that area. I 've rented the full sized shampooer which worked but is heavy and hard to handle. This is so easy to use, just set it on the spot, push the button, and it does the rest. Even gets out old stains too. If you have pets, this is a must.
