The Bissell 2080 is extremely easy to use and did a decent job on my carpets. My suggestion is just to pretreat any stains before time. Overall I was satisfied with the product, its cost and ease of use.

Bissell Carpet Cleaner 2080 This is a must-have rin your house. I've always had a carpet cleaner. RThis carpet cleaner is so light that you don 't think rthat it is clean, but it works wonders for my rcarpet. The only thing that took a star is rthat water receptical is very small, but I rwould it rather easily and empty the rwater often.

As others have said - it cleans well if you move slowly. If you're careful - I finally found the right angle, the dirty water tank doesn 't while transporting the toilet drain. R rmy only regret is that I'm not a cleaner with an attachment for stairs and upholstered furniture .-- The stairs are hard, but doable. R rmy one complaint is that I don 't find a way to clean the casing of the power brush. If there is a way to rem0ve all the guts to clean plastic, I don 't found. I have to stick fingers in her hair and a shovel, etc. out - uggggh! R rOverall - I like it - esp for fast cleaning of stains dog - I 've used for all rooms and it works well - take your time.

The QUICKSTEAMER was extremely easy to use and perform as well as any rental unit I 've had. I used the carpet steam to remove dirt and pet stains. It performs exceptionally well in both areas. I was also impressed how easy it was to clean the retention of the container.

Then The Bissell Quicksteamer Powerbrush is perfect: it gets the job done, it 's Relatively inexpensive, it ' s lightweight and it 's doable. R RMY only complaint would be to clean the machine after use. Certain aspects that are very difficult and time consuming. The tank, for example, requires close attention to get any dirt, hair, etc out of it because of all its nooks and crannies. And the thing of admission, I 've had to cut up the telephone copper shmoosh around there to get all the dirt and yuck out. R rOtherwise, however? For my purposes, it 's perfect, and I definitely recommend it to anyone who has only one or two rooms with carpets. R rit 's $ 10 cheaper at Lowes and even less than Wal-Mart, and neither of these options require transportation costs (which are always dubious in the Amazon). So definitely shop!

I bought this after checking the cleaner was available for a quick cleaning. I love it because it is lightweight, easy to maneuver and cleans up quickly. Probably not for the carpet surface, but does a superb job in areas of high traffic.

Finding a replacement filter is a big issue I have yet to resolve. While 2080 was a good performer, with room for improvement, and as long term reliability of the unit is in question, my overall rating drops three stars ... ..

I like it overall ... but I was mislead by one of the reviews thinking can I use it for the stairs. It 's too big and heavy for the stairs.

This is probably the best $ 100 I have spent in a long time. The Bissell 2080 works great. I live in a medium size apartment and didn't want the hassle of renting a steamer, and I didn 't want to pay the crew over $ 100 to clean my carpets every few months. So I took a chance and purchased the Bissell and am very pleased with it. It took about 4 hours to do my apartment and it made my carpets look like new. I was so proud all I could do was stare at them when I was done. It works almost identical to one of those rental steamers, except the water is heated only from your tap. The only drawback is you have to refill the container a few times but it is worth the extra time because you save so much money. Bissell has a winner here. I highly recommend it.

I bought one of the 2080 Quick teamers for a few days before I moved here, so I could clean all the carpets in our place before we left. I have owned this product for several years and have worn out, it now leaks from the tank through the wheel and must be replaced. I think I lost a washer or something. Has more than paid for itself, I 'm glad I can get the same model at the same price I paid before! R rthe only drawback to this is that the rotating brush, while removable, is a kind of annoyance to dismount, I just clean it thoroughly every third or fourth use. You can get out there with fingers and paper towels for lint out - and if you have a dog that sheds you'll 't have to do it during cleaning because it takes the hair like crazy. It doesn 't make the water hotter than whatever you put in the tank to use very hot water - I also use Febreeze Oxyclean powder and liquid in the tank to stand up to stains and the smell great room. Had it for three years, used it three times. Then the mechanism controlling the solution release valve failed and it stopped releasing the solution when the switch was depressed. Will attempt to fix it, but otherwise it is useless since it is no longer under Warrantee. If you ask me, this is not an auspicious beginning for a carpet cleaning device.

Bought carpet cleaner to get together with my children. They have inexpensive electric mirrors, a big dog and a new baby. Error 't get your carpet clean with a "green machine ", or by hand. I have a room with carpet synthetic sisal rug that I swear was dirty when it was installed. Any attempt at a clean place apparently left the ring. We 've both had amazing results with this little machine. Easy to use (I didn 't even the instructions) home with me and very effective. Very easy to fill with water and detergent, and if I have more attention paid simply to empty the tank (it took me to the already clean hardwood). Has a good job of sucking the cleaning water. Carpet dry in a few hours. I don 't think I would want vast areas with their clean, but for spot cleaning and traffic areas, or for maintenance, I ' m more than satisfied.

RWith Amazon Prime, came the day after my order .. simply perfect. At 9 came (my parents were coming to 1) So I assembled as in 3 minutes, loading the compartment with hot steaming water and detergent solution, and not going there. RA very very fast 3 hours later, my carpet looked brand new, almost better than when I moved .. And the cleaning solution also gave a nice scent almost powder for children. I recently purchased this to replace our Bissell Little Green Pro Turbo Heat carpet cleaner. The Little Green 's turbo brush stopped working after 3 years. I 'll start by saying that this is a nice upgrade to our old machine. It is light weight and small in width so great for stairs. In fact, it was easier to use on the stairs Vs. The little green. r rit did a great job of cleaning up our puppy 's mess. One use of the 2080 and you could see a noticeable difference between it and the little and green. Also, the handle folds completely backwards for getting underneath the bed. R rWith proper use, it leaves a small amount of water behind that dries quickly. I would have taken off a 1 / 2 star as the reservoir tank has an opening that allows a small amount of dirty water to leak out the top if it gets to full. I bought this vacuum cleaner vacuum hunting for a steamer. Well what a joke? I started wondering where is the steam? Then I learned that this is no steamer. Why the hell did they name this product a steamer to make fool of people. Even though I can not argue with its performance (Was good) but in the end I was disappointed as this was no steamer. I was hunting for a genuine steam vacuum cleaner and got fooled by its name. I returned this product the very next day.

I just bought the Bissell 2080 Quicksteamer. Let me say that I am amazed. I thought I had a nice clean house. OMG! I was wrong. I can not believe how nasty, dirty and gross "things " came out of my carpets. I must say that I am also pleased with the fact that washing the carpets are not soaked when done. I highly recommend this little cleaner. It's really a great job.
